compare hotel rates
Today we we have been buried under a mountain of snow. All of the schools are closed, classes canceled, and roads covered in a thick coating of ice. Fortunately I finished all of my school work about two days ago and now I am completely caught up in all of my classes. The only thing I really have to do today is to kill time until tomorrow when we will have classes again. I will probably spend the entire day doing what I have been meaning to do but have yet to get around to doing; planning my trip for the end of the semester. My project for today has been to make my hotel reservation and have a broad idea of what I want to do on my summer trip. I need to spend some time to compare hotel prices to try and find the really good hotel deals. It’s actually kind of good that we have off today because if I am comparing hotel rates this far in advance I will surely get the best deals possible. www.hotelscombined.com seems to have some good information, so far that is my favorite site to use. The only problem is, I can’t quite decide where I want to go this year. I mean it would be really cool to go to any one of the places on my list but I will most likely choose Australia. My friends live in Sydney and I have been trying to get there for years to see them and to go surfing down there. I used to want to be a professional surfer before I came to college, but the east coast is a bit more shy in terms of waves than Southern California. Even with that goal put on hold for right now, it will probably influence all of my vacation planning for the rest of my life. Australia has always been at the top of my list on places to surf ever since I surfed the north shore in Hawaii. While I was there I met a local guy who said that the only place he had ever surfed that was quite as amazing a surf spot as this, is Australia’s west coast. Now I am just totally ready to hit the waves and feel the sun, even though all I see is white snow and icy blasts breathing it all down the street.
