Brushing up with parenting tips
Lately I have really been thinking that there are quite a few parenting resources out there and to collaborate them would be in the best interest of parents from all walks of life. I have been thinking about starting my own parenting web site, you know a place where you can find helpful parenting tips and get parenting advice from other parents who have gone through the same thing that you are going through. A community where parents can come together and share their experiences and their knowledge with other parents. An online support system with lots of links to helpful parenting web sites and forums where parents can go with all kinds of issues, from those about how to discipline to how to find a good baby sitter. A place where parents can learn about child development and access medical professionals with any serious issues or just for some advice when they are concerned that their child is not progressing the way they should. Having more than one child, can sometimes in your mind create a norm, that a second child does not live up to and therefore we as parents sometimes wonder what normal is. It would be a place that parents of children of all ages from birth to teenagers to young adults could come to access all kinds of information about when to potty train to how to steer your kids away from the bad crowd at school. My site would be filled with all kinds of educational resources as well, it would include sites that you can use for your kids to play games on and sites to help your child advance their reading and language and math skills. It would be filled with so many resources that there would never be a need for another parenting website.
Sounds like a great idea doesn't? Well, there are so many great sites available but what we parents need is simple. We need all the great resources on one site so that we know that when we go there we can get the information we need quickly and easily. Let's face it, when you have kids you don't have time to hop from site to site to find the information that you are looking for. You need that information and you need it now, and that is why it is so important to have a comprehensive site just for parenting.
