First, here is a link to the site: Cheap Tickets
The review:
Description: This web site supports Cheap Tickets, a web site put up by Cheap Tickets, Inc., a company specializing in selling discount air fares from airlines all over the world.
Form: The main page of this site is neat in appearance but contains some redundant information about the company and it's services and how to get help for using the site. After visiting it a couple of times you basically learn to ignore the main page and simply fill in your login information. Before you can access all of the sites pages it requires you to create a profile for yourself with a username and password of your choosing. Finding cheap airfares, the main purpose of this site, is very fast and straigtforward. You will in the dates you'd like to travel and the origin and destination cities/countries and/or airports and hit search. It comes back fairly quickly with a listing of all the airlines worldwide that have flights scheduled for your chosed times and origin and destination points.
Content: In addition to airline ticket info and purchasing you can also get hotel and ocean information. Overall, the site is fairly simple but it's power is the cheap airline information it does provide. I called the company on the phone to ask some additional fare questions and it was obvious that the company has been around a lot longer than it's web site and works closely with most of the airlines throughout the world.
Tools: This web site uses simple HTML, tables, Javascript, forms and cookies.
Appeal: This is by far the best
site I have found so far for finding cheap airfare. I believe www.priceline.com,
the site where you bid on airline tickets, is pretty much a joke.
I found airfares at very low prices through cheaptickets.com. I tried
getting the same fares by bidding for them at priceline and never found
one that priceline could match..
