Review, Week #3 - Acoustic Cafe

First, here is a link to the site: Acoustic Cafe

The review:

Description: This web site supports a nationally syndicated radio program focused on acoustic guitar playing.

Form:  This web site looks very good and professionally done.  It does not use a lot of fancy Java scripts or plug-ins but the items and links labled on the pages make sense and are not ambigious.

Content:  If you are a fan of the radio show or even just interested in acoustic guitar music this site has a good variety of content.  There are many different things covered in it that both would find useful and enjoy.  You can find radio stations and schedules for when the show airs in an area near you.  You can hear Real Audio samples of past shows and they are updated with new additonal segments from time to time.  There is a link to other acoustinc music resources and sections detailng past and future show guests.  There is also much more.

Tools:  This web site uses simple HTML, tables, frames and the RealAudio plug-in, if you want to listen to audio segments from past shows.

Appeal:  This site is very appealing to me.  I was introduced to acoustic guitar music and found I really liked it and am also learning to play guitar now myself.  This site gives me a resource that tells me lot's about what's going on today with acoustic guitar playing and where and when to hear and participate in it.
