| I find art is the process of truly living through expression rathar than simply doing, art is not done it is lived. This living entity which is embodied by all who engage it, is ageless and pure in its proficiency to extract truth from the creator. This extraction is vast and all encompassing, it is wrenched free from the mythologies of humanity constantly from generation to generation. A relay race that spans all time as the ever evolving perception is passed forward. The Universe living and breathing through the filter of humanity revealing our true place and nature within. Art has many faces, of which I pursue the visual. Amongst the many means of creating and expressing my art I find that loose gestural abstractions harmonize well with purpose at there heart. I create abstractions with impressions of solid shapes emerged wthin. Allowing the medium to lend its often viseral nature to the art only adds to the illusion of instability and chaos, creating form from the formless. From chaos to a purpose driven order back into spiraling chaos, This advance and retreat is the heartbeat of the universe. And as a truth seeker, an artist, I am humbled by it. |
