It's online, which is good. I like listening to his lectures (as opposed to just reading online materials). Prof McCarthy is entertaining, enthusiastic, lively and fun, and this comes across even in an online course. |

Yes. UMass is way, way, way too expensive, especially for Mass. residents. I can't believe an online class cost ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Outrageous and shameful. The state of higher education in Mass. is embarrassing. |

Of all the courses I've taken at UMASS this one has been one of my top two. Material was very interesting and professor taught it well. Course was also organized in such a way that it facilitated learning. Loved this course! |
