i did my undergraduate studies at the universities
of hanover and stuttgart in germany in german language
and literature, philosophy and computational linguistics.
during the academic year 2001/2002, i visited the umass linguistics department
on a fulbright sponsorship.
in the following year, i started my graduate studies here, and i am currently working on my dissertation, tentatively entitled topics in quantification, which i expect to complete in the summer of 2008.
