Where to buy property in Brazil.

With the Brazilian property market starting to heat up, buying a property or investing in Brazilian real estate is a great investment opportunity. Most people going in to Brazil from the USA or Europe will automatically think of properties on the coast. Rio de Janerio and Sao Paulo, to the south of the country, are always the most favored destinations and, not surprisingly, they are the  two places where the prices are hottest. However, you shouldn’t get fixated with the idea of people only being interested in ‘Rio’ and the carnival extravaganza or the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Brazil has over 7000 km of coastline along which properties are available to buy. Needless to say, being away from ‘Rio’ & ‘Sao’ you’ll get a lot more ‘bangs per bucks’ with these properties. Areas around places like Natal to the north, with great surfing nearby, currently have some very tempting property investment offers. Looking inland for property to buy in Brazil will also return plenty of great offers. Land and real estate in the northern state of Bahia is probably the fastest moving at present. The country’s capital city is also inland at Brasília, making property in the Brazilian Federal District also a good investment, with the prices of ‘quality’ Brazilian properties certain to continue rising in value.

What to do with a property in Brazil.

Having decided to buy a property in Brazil you’ve got three options open to you. First you could decide that only you and your family are going to use it. If you’re moving to Brazil permanently or you’re able to have long vacations there that makes the best sense. Alternatively you might be buying the property purely with a view to renting it out either for short-term holiday lets or possibly for longer periods. The third option is, of course, a combination of the first two; both using it yourself and renting it out to others. Whatever your reason for buying property in Brazil you can be sure of making a good investment.
