Announcements and Question period. SIS Liaison: Howard Stidham reported SIS Liason group meeting Mar 25th for the first time this semester. ACSIS: Question for ACSIS- What is the total number of people servicing the Student Information System at peer institutions. III. New Business A. Special Report on SIS Improvement: 1) Steve's motion distributed by Email needs a charge 2) Recast the motion in the larger issue of providing 'data warehouse' services in a means that can be directly queried 3) Proposed charge: The committee recommends that OIT should provide a broad and general capability for faculty and other authorized end users to create, save, conduct, and share their own queries against the student information system, as described in this report. In designing and implementing this system, OIT should consult with the SIS Liason Level II group as created by Faculty Senate Document [...]. 4) George Avrunin moved, Murray Eisenberg seconded. Report accepted unanimously, as amended. B.
