5/14

Final exam: tomorrow @ 1:30 in Hasbrouck Lab 134. You can bring any class notes (including printouts of the slideshows) and any textbooks. I will supply the bluebooks. Bring a blue or black pen.

Here are the complete Sartre notes: Sartre

Here are the complete Heidegger notes: Being and Time

I finished grading!!! (Stop by my office tomorrow or email me if you want to know your score.)

In preparation for the final, you should look over all the slideshows (there are 5).

Final Paper Option. As I said in class last week, you have the option of writing a third paper (8-10 pages) instead of taking the final. The topic of this paper is open. You must get a proposal approved by me by the end of the day this Wednesday. I expect you to discuss an issue that touches on three of the five philosophers we read (Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre, Camus). You need to find relevant passages in their writings. The paper is due Tuesday, May 20.
