Spring 2007
PHIL 361: Philosophy of Art
Here are a few announcements.
(i) Final Exam: The exam will take place on Friday, May 18, in HASA 126 (Hasbrouck Lab), at 1:30pm.
(ii) Review Sheet: Here is the review sheet for the final. Please note: You should study all of the questions. You will not be able to choose which questions to answer from the entire pool. Instead, I will narrow the pool somewhat for the exam, and you will choose from the smaller pool. But you will not know in advance which questions will be in the smaller pool.
(iii) Final Paper: You may write a final paper instead of taking an exam (see syllabus). If you choose to do this, the paper is due May18th. It should be 5-8 pages in length. You should discuss your topic with me no later than Mon., May 14th (discussion by e-mail is fine).
Please do not submit papers by e-mail. Turn hard copies into my mailbox in Bartlett Hall (third floor, philosophy hallway, on the right mid-way down the hall) .
(iv) Field Trip: Please join me for coffee, pastries, and drinks (if you like) at Amherst Coffee on the last day of class, Mon. May 14th. We will meet there right after (not during) lecture (so roughly 2:30 or 2:45).
