With a BA in translation and intepreting from the Unibero University in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1985, I have been working as a translator and interpreter for the past 20 years in the Portuguese and English languages. After having worked as a translator in different companies I decided to open my own business in 1997, providing translation and interpreting services to major multinational corporations in Brazil and abroad. In 2000, after passing the board examination, I became a Certified Translator in Brazil. Currently, I am pursuing an MA in Translation Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
