First Annual "Spring Into ALD" Social
Our newly inducted ALD members as well as current members joined together for a lively evening of Spring festivities including (but not limited to) music, laughter, cookie decorating, games, event planning, food and networking.

Freshmen Advice Brochure
ALD members collaborated to create a brochure for incoming freshmen with personal tips for academic success. The brochure contained individual member quotes on specific things that helped them achieve a 3.7+ GPA, along with general tips for test preparation, and recommended study spots on campus. These brochures were distributed to Commonwealth College students in the Webster/Dickinson cluster in Orchard Hill.

Shelter Sunday
Shelter Sunday is organized by Amherst Friends for the Homeless, Inc. Volunteers gather on the Amherst Town Common and are sent in groups to different neighborhoods in Amherst, Pelham and Hadley. Last year approximately $26,000 was collected and distributed to organizations that provide services to our neighbors in need. ALD members participated alongside more than 200 UMass students from various RSOs, fraternities, and sororities in the Shelter Sunday efforts.
