Community Event Planning Committee
Members of this committee brainstorm and plan ALD events to help the UMass and local Amherst community. Past community service events have included the Relay for Life, the Hunger Clean-Up and Amherst's Shelter Sunday.

Academic Event Planning Committee
Members of this committee plan academically oriented events for ALD. This could include events such as guest speakers, study groups, brochure making, academic guidance event series, and academic mentoring.

Fundraising Committee
Members of this committee will plan events for ALD and charitable fundraisers for organizations selected by the general membership.

Marketing Committee
The marketing committee is a recent addition to ALD. Members of this committee work closely with the other 3 committees to advertise and distribute any necessary information for ALD events.
