Getting Help With WebCT

The UMass WebCT Website

• The UMass Website supplies answers to many students questions including startup, using WebCT and Student Frequently Asked Questions.
  
• If you cannot find the answer to your specific question, send an email to webct@oit.umass.edu describing your problem. Be specific as possible when describing your problem and we will respond as soon as possible.

The OIT Help Desk

(Note: The OIT Help Desk primarily deals with account/password and new account issues)

WebCT Help

• The help file for WebCT highlights and explains all the available tools and features of WebCT. From within your WebCT course, select the help link from the course map on the top of your screen or go to : https://webct.oit.umass.edu/web-ct/help/en/student/student_index.html

• WebCT Help is context sensitive, it will automatically render the help pages for the particular area of WebCT you are working in. You may also select "HELP INDEX" to view all of the help topics available.
