End of Semester ChecklistAt the conclusion of each semester, it is important to secure the current semester's student data and prepare your course for later use. This is true even if you don't plan to immediately teach the course again in the near future. 1. Backup your course (recommended)Each instructor is responsible for making their own archival course backup to make a backup of your course(s) to retain student information. You may also wish to download copies of course tools (i.e., gradebook, discussion and chat logs) for your records. For a step by step description of this process, see 'Backing up Your WebCT Course'. 2. Specify that you wish to reuse your course (recommended)If you plan to reuse your course you must specify this by completing the reuse your course form. By completing this form, you are indicating that you wish to reuse your course for an upcoming semester. Once your request is received you will receive confirmation that your course has moved to a new semester course category. To reuse your course, see the 'Reusing Your Course Form'.
