Content Module Tool

Audio Tool

The Audio tool can be added to any page inside the content module. When students are reading a lecture or reviewing course content, they can click on the Audio tool and a list of clips will be displayed. The Audio tool will only support QuickTime format reliably.

Adding the Audio Tool

1. Navigate to the page inside the Content Module.
2. Click on Designer Options.
3. Choose Audio under the Main Options menu.

Adding a Downloaded Clip (QuickTime)

1. Click Browse under Add an Audio Clip.
2. Choose the audio clip you uploaded to your WebCT course but clicking the radio button to the left of the file name.
3. Choose Pick.
4. Provide a description of the clip in the Description box.
5. Click Add.

Video Tool

The Video tool can be added to any page inside the content module. When students are reading a lecture or reviewing course content, they can click on the Video tool and a list of clips will be displayed. At this time, the Video tool will only support QuickTime files reliably.

Adding the Video Tool

1. Navigate to the page inside the Content Module.
2. Click on Designer Options.
3. Choose Video under the Main Options menu.
