Welcome to my online portfolio!

My name is Alyssa Buotte and I am a graduating senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am currently pursuing a BA in English with a specialization in Professional Writing and Technical Communication and a minor in Education. After graduation in May 2008, I will be seeking an entry-level technical writing position.

I created this website to demonstrate the skills that I have learned in English 391c: Advanced Software. My design choices are based on the principles of contrast, proximity, alignment, and repitition as discussed in Robin Williams'
The Non-Designers Design Book.
