Darron Smith is a Doctoral Candidate in the University of Utah, School of Education, the Department of Education, Culture, & Society. His program has an emphasis on civil rights, critical race theory, multicultural education, affirmative action and organizational communication. He received his M.Ed. in Higher Education from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, in 2000. He has served as a Consultant to Dean of School of Education at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah and to the Assistant Vice President of Faculty Affairs at Utah Valley College, Orem, Utah.
