Carlos Mamani is at the Center for Anthropology and Archeology of the Universidad Mayor De San Andres. He received his Bachelors degree in History from Universidad Mayor De San Andres in 1989 and his Masters (M.A.) in History of the Andes from FLASCO- Ecuador in 1993. He has worked as a researcher at the Aymara Studies Center (CEA) from 2002-2003 and at the Strategic Bolivarian Program in the Indigenous Rights Project from 1998-1999. His works include Interculturality, Politics and Power and Colonial Domination in Historical Perspective.
