MacLeans A. Geo-JaJa is a Professor of Economics in the David O. McKay School of Education, University of Utah. Prior to this he has taught as Associate Professor of Economics of Education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Foundations from 1999-2005. His areas of expertise are the Economics of education and Educational policy and social change. His research focuses on cost-effectiveness analysis in decision-making, Impact of educational policies on education outcomes and poverty, and human capital formation. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Utah in 1986.
